JOHN WHITEPartner - San Francisco, CA

Mr. White has over 30 years of experience advising private and public companies both domestically and internationally. He has extensive experience working with family owned businesses and in many cases over multiple generations.  Mr. White has a track record for building successful advisory platforms having run the Media and Communications Investment Banking group at JP Morgan Chase in the U.S. and Chase Manhattan’s TMT Group in Europe, as well as the U.S. TMT Group at Wells Fargo. Mr. White has also been an early investor in wireless, broadband communications, social engagement platforms, and marketing services companies.   

Mr. White sits on the board of Telescope.tv and CoachArt.

Mr. White received a B.A. in Political Science from Middlebury College in 1985.

MICHAEL ALEXANDERPartner - New York, NY

Mr. Alexander has spent more than 20 years advising both private and public companies in the U.S. and Europe. He has significant capital markets experience in both the public and private markets. He has an extensive background in advising on complex M&A situations, as well as structuring tax efficient transactions. He has worked in London, New York and San Francisco.  Prior to founding Moorgate Mr. Alexander was a Managing Director at both JP Morgan and Wells Fargo.

Mr. Alexander sits on the board of ITC Service Group. 

Mr. Alexander received a B.S. degree in Banking and Finance from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom.

CHUCK WIEBE, Managing Director - New York, NY

Mr. Wiebe joined Moorgate Partners in 2022 as a Managing Director to advise digital infrastructure companies and has over 25 years of investment banking and investing experience. Prior to joining Moorgate, Mr. Wiebe was a Managing Director of Houlihan Lokey and member of the Broadband Team within the firm’s Technology practice. Houlihan Lokey had purchased his previous firm, MVP Capital, in 2020. At MVP, he provided a range of M&A and capital markets advisory services to clients in the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors. Prior to joining MVP Capital, Mr. Wiebe co-founded BIA Capital Strategies, a communications-focused investment bank, and BIA Digital Partners, a mezzanine-focused fund that invested in 37 media-, telecommunications-, and information-based businesses.

Mr. Wiebe is the immediate Past Chair of the Suburban Hospital Board of Trustees in Bethesda, Maryland, and was a member of the Johns Hopkins Medicine Board of Trustees.

Mr. Wiebe holds a B.A. with distinction from Cornell University as a Cornell National Scholar and was a member of its back-to-back NCAA champion Men’s Lacrosse teams.

JON MEYERS, Director - New York, NY

Prior to joining Moorgate Partners in 2011, Mr. Meyers worked for 7 years in investment banking groups for Banc of America Securities, Pali Capital and SG Barr Devlin.  Mr. Meyers has advised on over $10 billion of M&A, strategic advisory, restructuring, and capital markets (debt & equity) transactions across various industries including media, entertainment, technology, gaming, lodging and real estate. 

Mr. Meyers received a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2004.

JEFF SEDDONDirector - New York, NY

Mr. Seddon has more than a decade of experience advising both public and private companies across the communications, media and technology industries. During his time at Moorgate, Mr. Seddon has worked on more than $4 billion of M&A, strategic advisory, and capital markets transactions with a particular focus on the digital & traditional media and broadband / cable sectors. Prior to joining Moorgate Partners full time in 2012,  Mr. Seddon worked in equity research at Oppenheimer & Co. covering the internet sector.

Mr. Seddon received a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a dual concentration in Finance and Marketing in 2012.

JUSTIN LEEAnalyst - San Francisco, CA

Prior to joining Moorgate Partners in 2021, Mr. Lee worked as a summer analyst at JP Morgan.

Mr. Lee received a B.A. in Economics from Boston College in 2021 where he graduated magna cum laude.

Nick CurtinAnalyst - San Francisco, CA

Prior to joining Moorgate Partners in 2023, Mr. Curtin served as the Financial Analyst & Controller at Warren Lotas and as the Director of Operations at Freewear Apparel. In addition to his four years of startup experience, Mr. Curtin has worked as a Private Equity Summer Analyst at Ardian and as an Equity Research Intern at Caro-Kann Capital.

Mr. Curtin received both a B.S. and a M.S. degree in Finance from Georgetown University in 2018 and 2023, respectively.

EILEEN VASQUEZ, M.S.A.Chief Administration Officer - San Francisco, CA

Prior to joining Moorgate Partners in 2022, Mrs. Vasquez worked as an auditor for Big4 public accounting firm, Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) in their technology and venture capital assurance practice. Mrs. Vasquez is responsible for managing the administration functions of the firm.

Mrs. Vasquez received an M.S. in Accounting from California State University - East Bay in 2016.

KEIKO FUKUMURA, Executive Assistant - San Francisco, CA

Prior to joining Moorgate Partners in 2015, Ms. Fukumura worked for TPG Biotech Ventures. Prior to her time at TPG she worked at JP Morgan Chase.   

Ms. Fukumura received a Bachelors of Science from Boston University.
